River Safari & Dinner
Fri-02 Aug 2019, 5pm to 8:30 pm
(Please add at least 30 minutes each way for travel)

At the River Safari Singapore, meet manatees and monkeys, piranhas and pandas, as they congregate in and around the park’s waters. The River Safari is Asia's first and only river-themed wildlife park. Singapore's newest wildlife park, it has over 6000 animals, including 40 threatened species, as well as the world's largest freshwater aquarium. The visit includes 2 x 25 min boat rides for meandering through Rivers of the World, from the mighty Mississippi to the impressive Yangtze. Marvel at mega-creatures such as the giant Chinese salamander, the world’s largest amphibian, and the endangered giant Mekong catfish, which can grow up to two metres long.

After the river safari, adjourn to the food court. In the eyes of many, Singapore is food paradise. Singapore's food courts (air-conditioned hawker centers) are one of the country's most-loved institution, providing meals and delights for as little as 3 Singapore Dollars (USD2). A 2010 government survey suggested that nearly half of Singaporeans eat at hawker centers six times a week or more.

Armed with a food guide, the goal is to sample as many Singapore's popular street food as able.
