Welcome Reception
Start your AOGS2027 experience by reconnecting with colleagues and meeting fellow participants at the Welcome Reception.

Time: 6:30 PM-9:00 PM (provisional and subject to confirmation)
Venue: Conference venue, Marina Bay Sands
Admission: Open to all AOGS2027 name badge holders
Please wear your AOGS2027 name badge for admission.
AOGS Beer Hour
Make time for face-to-face connections at the AOGS Beer Hour, taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons alongside the Poster and Match-Meet sessions.
Dates: Tuesday-Thursday, 27-29 July 2027
Time: During the afternoon Poster and Match-Meet sessions
Admission: Open to all AOGS2027 attendees
This informal networking opportunity brings attendees together to meet new contacts, reconnect with colleagues, exchange ideas and enjoy conversations beyond the scheduled sessions.
Convener's Dinner Beach Party
Get ready for a lively evening by the sea! The AOGS2027 Convener's Dinner will take the form of a beach party at Ola Beach, Sentosa.
Date: Friday, 30 July 2027
Departure from Marina Bay Sands: 6:30 PM
Party ends: By 9:30 PM
Venue: Ola Beach, Sentosa
Admission: By invitation only
Guests are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion in relaxed beach-party attire. To add to the festive atmosphere, AOGS also intends to provide attendees with a suitably bold "loud shirt" for the party.
Eligible conveners and invited guests will automatically be given access to sign up during registration. Payment may be required where applicable. Invitations and registrations are intended only for the named recipient and are not transferable.
Further information on attire, transportation and other arrangements will be provided closer to the event.
Field Trips
Explore Singapore beyond the conference venue through a selection of AOGS2027 field trips.
One of the planned destinations is Sungei Buloh, which was introduced during the AOGS2026 Closing Ceremony. Additional field trips are currently being developed and will be announced when arrangements are confirmed.
