Assessing Thailand's Resilience: Public Perception, Warning Systems, and Preliminary Impacts of the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake

On March 28, 2025, the Myanmar Earthquake caused significant impacts across the region, including Thailand. This study will focus on Thailand's situation after the earthquake, particularly on public perception, the challenges with warning systems, and the widespread panic that ensued. In Bangkok, the quake led to paralyzed traffic and disruptions to public transportation, leaving many stranded and amplifying the chaos. By examining these aspects, we aim to understand the factors influencing community resilience and preparedness during seismic events. This study provides insights into cross-border impacts and highlights the importance of improving disaster response strategies.
