Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS)

• To promote geosciences and their researches and applications for the benefit of humanity in Asia, Oceania and beyond.
• To hold annual meetings for providing a unique opportunity in exchanging scientific knowledge and discussing important geo-scientific issues among academia, research institution and public.
• To address natural hazards through improving our understanding of their geneses through publishing journal papers.
• To recognize the need of global collaboration and develop cooperation with other international or regional geoscience societies and unions, including the European Geosciences Union (EGU), American Geophysical Union (AGU), International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), Japan Geo-science Union (JpGU), the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (AMOS) and Science Council of Asia (SCA).
