Visa Information


The visa application form is available free of charge at all Singapore overseas missions (except for non-resident High Commissioners/Ambassadors based in Singapore). You may also download the form here. The list of our Overseas Missions is available here. You should approach the nearest Mission directly for more information on the requirements and procedures to apply for a visa.

You may also wish to apply for a visa through a local contact in Singapore who is a Singapore citizen or a Permanent Resident in possession of a “SingPass” account. The visa application can be submitted online through your local contact in Singapore via the SAVE system at Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)’s website. If your application is approved, your local contact in Singapore can use the SAVE system to print a copy of your e-Visa for you.

General Invitation to Secure Travel Support
Around end-March 2021, the reviewer’s decision on abstract acceptance/rejection will be sent. The notification will include an invitation to participate in the conference and all associated activities. You may also log in to MARS to download the acceptance letter of your abstract. Under ‘My Abstracts’, Click on Abstract ID.

Invitation Letter to Apply for Visa

  • An authorized visa agent or trusted partner can provide this and if required, also act as guarantor.
  • Conference secretariat can also issue the invitation letter but cannot act as guarantor.
    Please note that you will be required to furnish the personal particulars below, for the invitation letter to be generated.

Entry Requirements
All visitors to Singapore must satisfy the following basic requirements before being able to be considered for entry:

Visa Free Transit Facilities
Nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Georgia, India, The People’s Republic of China (PRC), Turkmenistan and Ukraine may be eligible for the Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF). For more information on the VFTF, click here.

Foreigners holding travel documents NOT issued by Countries listed below are allowed visa-free entries.

Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries will require either a Business or Social Visit visa to enter Singapore.
