Submit an abstract

  • Go to Author Options, click My Abstracts and then click Create New Abstract. it will guide you through a 3-step submission process:
    • Step 1: Enter abstract details and author details.
    • Step 2: Upload the abstract file
    • Step 3: Pay for the abstract processing fee
  • Each abstract will be assigned an Abstract ID. Please quote this in all correspondences.

Pay the abstract processing fee

Under AOGS policy, the abstract processing fee is not waived under almost any circumstances. They are not waived for withdrawn/rejected abstracts or for successful registration fee waiver applicants.

For authors have failed attempts in paying by credit card online, you can

  1. Try a different card;
  2. If it still fails, fax the front and back of the card to the AOGS Secretariat Office (Fax: +65 6341 7269, Attn: Azrinah). Please indicate your name, abstract ID, payment amount (USD22 / SGD32) in the fax. Our accountant will try to process the payment for you.

For authors who have genuine difficulties in paying the abstract fees by credit card online (e.g., do not have a credit card), payment of abstract processing fee can be delayed until the online registration time. The abstract processing fee and registration fee can then be paid either by credit card or by telegraphic transfer. An additional administrative fee of SGD60 / USD45 will be charged for or telgraphic transfers, primarily due to bank charges. Accordingly, if you need to defer payment of the abstract processing fee, you may stop at Step 3 at the time of abstract submission.

For abstract processing fees that remain unpaid after the conference, they will be recorded under corresponding author's name in the society's records.

  • You can modify, resubmit your own abstract anytime but must be before the given deadline.
