Abstract Submission and Deadlines
  Submission Opens: 10 November 2006
  Submission Closes: 15 February 2007 (extended to 15 March 2007)
  Acceptance Notification: 26 March 2007
   
How to submit An Abstract

In order to submit an abstract to your preferred session, you will need to register a User Account on MARS at AOGS

Upon landing on MARS, follow the given instructions below

1.

View and Select Session from approved listing
  a) Under "Conference" on the menu, Click on Session List
  b) From 'Section List' click on Show List to view the list of sessions in your chosen Section
  c) To view your preferred session description, Click on Session Code
2. Submit an abstract
  a) Under "Author Options", Click on My Abstracts and then Click on Create New Abstract
  b) After completing the submission form, Click on Submit. Each abstract will be assigned an Abstract ID. Please quote this in all future correspondences
  c) A SGD32/USD21 processing fee is payable for EACH abstract at the time of submission. This amount is non-refundable, regardless of its final review status. It is appreciated that any amount owing to AOGS be settled at the time of registration.
3. Modify an abstract
  a) You will be able to upload, edit and view your own abstract, but only before the final submission deadline. After this date, no further changes may be permitted.
  b) Under "Author Options", Click on My Abstracts to view your abstract submission(s).
  c) Click if you wish to edit your abstract
  d) Click if you wish to edit your author list. Do note that everyone needs a user account to be on MARS. Please remind your co-author to register a user account if yet to do so
  e) Click if you wish to upload your abstract (See 4. Prepare an abstract).
Any succeeding upload automatically overwrites the preceding submission.
  f) Click to download your abstract
  g) Click to withdraw your abstract
4. Prepare an abstract
  a) Please strictly follow the Style Files provided and AOGS appreciates receiving Camera-Ready papers in PDF format with print quality resolution.

  b)

Length of Abstract should be ONE A4 page maximum, with illustrations (if necessary), paper title, author(s)' name(s), affiliations, addresses and must include contact number and email address of the Main Author.

5. Review Process
  a) A team of reviewers will select the papers for oral or poster presentations.
  b) Acceptance is on condition that authors will attend the meeting to present the papers.
