Dear Participants,
AOGS-AGU (WPGM) Joint Assembly will commence in about two weeks from 13 to 17 August, 2012 at the Resorts World Convention Centre on Singapore’s Sentosa Island where over 2, 000 participants will be convening at this meeting.

The comprehensive scientific program features the AOGS Axford Lectures, Section Distinguished Lectures and Public Lectures, all to be delivered by authorities in their fields and 1860 presentations covering Atmospheric Sciences, Bio Geosciences, Hydrological Sciences, Ocean Sciences, Planetary Sciences, Solar & Terresterial Sciences, Solid Earth Sciences and Interdisciplinary Geosciences. The Geosciences World Community Exhibition will be the major accompanying event. Additionally, sponsored forums and receptions by publishers.

Do also make time to meet friends and speakers over beer and Singapore’s favorite dishes at the Welcome Reception. For exploring Singapore, take advantage of “AOGS Navigator”, a complimentary air-conditioned coach service provided exclusively for participants allowing you the freedom to hop on and off at any designated stop.     Throughout the joint assembly, the meeting rooms, exhibition hall and surrounding areas will be WIFI enabled.
    Fixed line internet stations in the exhibition hall will also be available from Mon, 13 Aug to Thu, 16 Aug.
