Brief Description
This symposium will focus on the use of electromagnetic phenomena, e.g., ULF, ELF and VLF waves as diagnostic probes of the solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere-atmosphere and the ionosphere-atmosphere-lithosphere coupled systems for space weather studies and for prediction of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other volcano processes, respectively. These waves convey information about the dynamics and morphology of the coupled systems. Papers obtained using new and established techniques from coordinated ground and space-based observations are strongly encouraged.
