Brief Description
Geophysical, geologic, and geochemical studies of the continental and oceanic lithosphere have made remarkable progress in providing new insights into the structure and evolution of the lithosphere. This session welcomes all contributions that discuss the composition, physical properties, deformation, and evolution of the lithosphere based on new observations and modeling results. Of particular interest are contributions that consider more than one method, and contributions that challenge conventional views of how the lithosphere has been formed and modified.
