Brief
Description
The
influence of increasing concentration of several greenhouse
gases and also the unique physical mechanisms prevailing
over Asian region (in particular from tropical Asian Countries)
are increasingly becoming important under the Climate change
debate. Urban Pollution is another issue of great concern
to this region. These processes are now also likely to influence
the unique monsoon activities of South-Asia. The growth
of emission rates from bio-mass burning and fossil fuel
combustion from Asian Continental region and their convection
to otherwise cleaner environment are believed to be perturbing
the vertical structure of
atmosphere. This session will address both short-term fluctuations
and linear /non-linear variabilities of atmospheric parameters
induced by both man-made and natural effects. Papers on
monsoon variability chemical-climate over Asian region,
influence over oceanic and mountain
regions of this part of world using both observed and model-simulated
techniques are invited. |
