Brief Description
Taiwan is loacted in the Asia-Pacific region. there are many natural hazard in this island, such as earthquake (1999-9-21 Chi-chi earthquake), typhoon induced flood, landslide, and drought. During the past 20 years taiwan goverment spend a lot of efforts not only in doing researches on hazard mitigation but also try to implement the research results to haqzard reduction. There are many experiences have been accumulated from academic community as well as from central and local goverment. We like to share this information with the international community on hazard reduction. To submit a proposal for s session on this conference is mainly for sharing the experiences and information exchange..
