Brief Description
The objective of the session is to put our understandings together on the level of uncertainties attaching to the current hydrological predictions exercised in the region. The quantification of predictive uncertainty is desirable but the qualitative identification and the consequences of uncertainties are also welcome. Three subtitles are (1) Identification of sources of uncertainties. (2) Evidence of magnitude and impact of uncertainties of hydrological predictions. (3) Quantitative assessment of the predictive uncertainties in the prediction exercises in the region.
