AOGS2011 in Taipei is the largest AOGS annual meeting ever!
The 8th Annual Meeting and Geosciences World Community Exhibition concluded successfully on 12 August, 2011 with 1637 participants from 44 countries and is the largest gathering to date. More information refer to the meeting report. Photos are also available on the photo gallery.

Advances in Geosciences (ADGEO) - Paper Submission Closes 30 Sep 2011
Advances in Geosciences welcomes manuscripts derived from presentations at AOGS2011 in Taipei. Besides papers from Distinguished Lectures and Invited Talks, original papers from oral and poster talks reporting on the most recent results of advanced research in the Asia-Oceania region are especially encouraged.   • Call for Session Proposals – Opens 03 October 2011; Closes 05 December 2011
    You are invited to convene Sessions in one or more of these sections - Atmospheric Sciences (AS), Biogeosciences (BG), Hydrological Sciences (HS), Ocean Sciences (OS), Planetary Sciences (PS), Solar & Terrestrial Sciences (ST), Solid Earth Sciences (SE) and Interdisciplinary Working Groups (IWG).   • Funding Support by AOGS
    For every 20 accepted abstracts, 1 complimentary registration provided to the Session Convener for deciding the recipient. Total funding available is up to 200 complimentary registrations

  • AOGS Reduced Fee Scheme
    AOGS has a reduced fee scheme which is applicable to both standard and student rate. AOGS will set aside funding support for up to 10% of eligible delegates to receive reduced fee status. Details on the scheme can be found here: http://www.asiaoceania.org/aogs2012/public.asp?page=register.htm

    Application opens 15 January 2012 and Closes 12 March 2012.
    Applications will be reviewed and successful applicants notified by email by 09 April.
    Successful applicants must confirm their participation by 04 June 2012, and the payment of that registration fee must be completed by then. Otherwise the offer will lapse
