Submission of late abstracts in exceptional circumstances

1) Late abstracts should only be accepted in exceptional circumstances.

2) The process of submission and approval of late abstracts is as follows:

1. Author requests permission from the lead convener of the intended Session with the written abstract.
2. If approved then the lead convener asks permission of the Section President.
3. If approved then the Section President asks the Chair of the Program Committee.
4. If approved then the Chair directs the Secretariat to upload the abstract into the Session for the Convener to process.

3) This process is deliberately difficult so that it will only be used in exceptional circumstances.
